Farmers Field in Los Angeles, New Chargers Stadium, Minnesota Vikings Stadium and Barclays Center are the proposed stadiums which have not been built yet because of some reasons such as lack of luck, generous taxpayers, and need a better timing.



On August 9, 2011, the Los Angeles City Council approved this new 70,000-seat football stadium owned and operated by AEG in a 12-0 vote. AEG is hoping to start constructing the project in June 2012, with Farmers Field opening in September 2016. Councilwoman Jan Perry informed: "This is a significant project for our city and it will bring football back to this city”. Moreover, "This sends a very clear message we are serious about bringing football back to Los Angeles."

New Chargers Stadium is a proposed 0 National Football League football stadium. Currently, Chargers organization is looking at other places in San Diego County, notably National City, Chula Vista, and Oceanside because they failed to come to an agreement on the new stadium, mainly due to the city’s inability to fund a stadium.

However, New York City lost its Olympic bid and Willets Points Ice Palace is never built


 


Barclays Center is the only building on this list currently under construction in Brooklyn, New York City. It is part of a proposed sports arena, business and residential complex costing .9 billion.




This is the sport arena tended to serve as a new home for the National Basketball Association's Nets opened in 2012
